Did you try it again? I definitely think it's the kind of show you need to get really deep in the weeds with. They should have released a companion book or something, because it's so wildly confusing but I think understanding it is really rewarding. I don't fully get all of it but a lot of the things I thought didn't make sense actually made sense within the world and its internal logic.
I enjoyed season 2 much more this time round. I'm not sure why it's clicked more for me this time around but the guides are making it easier to track. Previously when I've tried to look at episode guides or reddit etc it's full of well meaning people who can't help but show they know more in a nudge nudge way so avoiding spoilers was tough.
I might give Dark a second go with that...

I finished season 2 this week and it was much clearer. Part way through 3 now and I suspect I may need to go back to the start of s3 again..
Nice. I think it demands multiple watches/notebooks/diagrams. Are you enjoying it?

It would be amazing to have a family tree that you can slide across the episodes to grow as you meet characters and their younger/older selves.
I've finished season 1 but had back to back in laws then parents, so I'm hoping to start season 2 again soon. Give me a fortnight to report back 😊
